What makes Manduka Care Solutions better than home solutions?
To put it simply: ingredients and preparation. It’s true, our product, just like homemade solutions, is built on water and essential oil. But, as we all know, water and oil don’t mix – at least not without a lot of help. That’s why we add a bio-based fragrance solubilizer that not only helps our cosmetic level organic essential oil spread evenly through our purified water, but also ensures it stays there (versus separating and floating to the top). Then we thoroughly mix our three simple ingredients in an industrial mixer at 1700 rpm (a home stand mixer tops out at about 280 rpm). That ensures every spray from our bottle delivers the right balance of water and essential oil to your mat.

WHICH SIDE OF THE MANDUKA X MAT DO I USE?
The Manduka X Mat is made of the same durable material on the top and bottom, so you are welcome to use either side!
WHO IS THE MANDUKA X MAT RECOMMENDED FOR?
The Manduka X Mat is great for athletes and people with active lifestyles who are looking for a yoga mat to complement their workout routine.
WHAT IS THE MANDUKA X MAT MADE OF?
The Manduka X Mat is made of Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) and is 6P free.
IS THE MANDUKA X MAT COVERED BY THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE?
As the Lifetime Guarantee only covers PRO Series mats, the Manduka X Mat is not covered under the Lifetime Guarantee.
IS THERE LATEX IN THE MANDUKA X MAT?
No - The Manduka X Mats are 100% latex-free!
IS THE MANDUKA X MAT AVAILABLE IN DIFFERENT SIZES AND THICKNESSES?
The Manduka X Mat is currently available in one size – 180 cm x 61 cm x 5 mm, and it weighs 1,7 kg.
THE MANDUKA X MAT IS CONSTRUCTED OF A CLOSED-CELL SURFACE, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
The Manduka X mat is constructed of a closed-cell surface (non-absorbent), which prevents bacteria and moisture from being absorbed. Designed for multi-purpose use from yoga to fitness. The closed-cell surface will keep the mat hygienic and more durable.
- Pair the Manduka X mat mat with one of our eQua® or Yogitoes® hand yoga towels to absorb moisture and increase grip when starting to sweat.
- During a more warm/sweaty practice pair the Manduka X mat with one of our eQua® full mat towels or Yogitoes® full mat towels.
- Manduka Yoga Grip Gel is a grip enhancer and evaporating gel that creates a moisture barrier between your skin and your yoga mat. It is specifically designed to support new yogis learning to develop their grip through regular practice.
CAN I WEAR SHOES ON THE MANDUKA X MAT?
Yes - This mat is designed to be cross-functional for yoga practices to fitness practices. The mat is footwear friendly (however, keep in mind that the mat will show signs of wear and tear quicker when regularly used with shoes).
HOW DO I STORE MY MANDUKA X MAT?
Keep your mat rolled up and stored in a cool, dry place, and away from direct sunlight.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY MANDUKA X?
The following mat care products can be used on the X mat:
- Yoga Mat Wash & Refresh for daily refresh
- Botanical Mat Cleaner for thorough clean
Use Manduka’s Yoga Mat Wash & Refresh to keep your Manduka X mat smelling fresh and clean. Spray the entire surface of the mat. Note: Due to the rough surface texture of the Manduka X, you might find it easier to use a damp clean cloth to wipe the mat clean. Apply more mat wash as necessary. Dry before rolling or using. Never soak, shower or submerge your mat in water. Store in a cool, dry place.
For a Deeper Clean: Spray generously until the mat is visibly wet. Let sit 1-2 minutes. Use a clean cloth to gently scrub any areas that have dirt or stains. Dry your mat before rolling or using.

WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE ABOUT THE X MAT?
The Manduka X mats are made from TPE, which is an eco-friendly material made from non-toxic, recycled, biodegradable materials. Hypoallergenic, recyclable and free of chemical solvents, toxic glues, and harmful substances, Manduka X mats are crafted in Taiwan.
MY MANDUKA X MAT IS STARTING TO FLAKE/ SHOW SIGNS OF WEAR - IS THIS NORMAL?
Just like the other mats, the Manduka X mat will not remain in the same condition as when newly purchased when it is put into use. The surface can begin to flake over time and with use. Long-term usage can lead to patches of wear and tear in the material appearing. When the mat will start to show signs of wear and tear depend on different factors such as; frequency of use, what type of practice it's used for, the environment, use & care etc.

The Begin mat is made of TPE by eco-friendly manufacturing in Taiwan. This mat is made up of a closed-cell surface which prevents the mat from absorbing moisture and bacteria.
IS THE BEGIN MAT COVERED BY THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE?
As the Lifetime Guarantee only covers PRO Series mats, the Begin mat is not covered under the Lifetime Guarantee.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY EQUA® ROUND YOGA MAT?
Normal "after-practice" care by spot cleaning when needed with the Manduka Yoga Mat Wash & Refresh. Hang to dry.
WHAT ARE THE EQUA® ROUND YOGA MAT'S MADE OF?
The Round mats are constructed of an eQua® top layer and an eKO® base layer.
- The eQua® Fabric: The eQua® fabric is a super soft microfiber that's absorbent, quick drying and durable.
- The eKO® Core: All eKO® mats are comfortably cushioned, high performing and made from sustainably harvested tree rubber.
WHAT CAN I USE THE EQUA® ROUND YOGA MAT FOR?
The eQua® Round Yoga Mat has 360° range of motion and freedom of movement in all directions. The top layer is absorbent eQua microfiber with a natural rubber core and base. Easy to clean, this mat can be used for prenatal yoga, mommy and me yoga, restorative yoga, and all home practices. Beautiful and inspired by the moon, it can become part of your home decor.

I HAVE A LATEX SENSITIVITY, CAN I USE AN EQUA® ROUND YOGA MAT?
Through Manduka's manufacturing process, the eQua® Round Yoga Mat is 99% latex free. If you know you are sensitive to even traces of latex, we recommend you purchase from our PRO Series.
WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE PARCEL WHEN I ORDER THE EQUA ROUND MAT?
The dimensions of the parcels are approximately 160 x 16 x 16 cm.
